Carnival of the Animals

Experience Saint-Saëns’ Carnival of the Animals live with your Richmond Symphony! Discover elephants, lions, and more as you meet the instruments of the orchestra in this beloved concert experience for young audiences. Designed to align with Virginia Standards of Learning, this concert is programmed for grades Pre K - 3.

Held at the Dominion Energy Center's Carpenter Theatre, this program will also feature Grieg's In the Hall of the Mountain King and Gregory Smith's Zoo Song.

Tickets are $7 each, $5 for Title 1 schools. Groups receive one free chaperone ticket per ten student tickets.

The Education team will send you an invoice two weeks before the concert. Ticket changes and general inquires can be directed to Anita Williams at education@richmondsymphony.com.

Richmond Symphony will occasionally hire a photographer or videographer to document rehearsals, dress rehearsals and/or concerts. These photos/videos may be used in publicity items (website, programs, ads, etc.) pertaining to the Richmond Symphony education program.
