Financial Assistance Application Process:
To apply for financial assistance, families must supply:

  • Completed Financial Assistance application
  • Recent pay stub
  • Photocopy of most recent Federal Tax Return OR official letter of proof from coordinating agency for welfare, social security, unemployment, child support, maintenance and/or alimony compensation.

Additionally, RSSoM will consider:

  • official documentation of changes or extenuating circumstances that have changed the financial status of the applicant subsequent to filing of tax return
  • letters indicating extenuating circumstances not documented elsewhere which may support an applicant’s claim to assistance (i.e. special needs)

Applications will not be considered complete for review until all materials have been supplied.

    7. If approved for tuition assistance may we share student biographical information to our scholarship donors? (including: age, grade, instrument, school, ensemble – we will NOT release student/family names)

    Required: I have read and understand all of RSSoM’s policies and procedures and agree to adhere to them. I understand that tuition support may be withdrawn from any student who does not maintain a record of cooperation and achievement satisfactory to RSSoM. I understand that tuition support is granted for instruction for the season and that I must apply separately for any summer class or camp. I understand that providing false or misleading information on any part of this application will disqualify me from any current or future tuition support from RSSoM. If approved, students may be asked to submit a statement of their experience in RSSoM that we may share with our funders.
