The Youth Orchestra Program is central Virginia’s premier orchestral training program, offering five ensembles and comprehensive musical development for elementary through high school students.

The Companion Course offers 60-minute classes that explore upcoming Symphony Series repertoire with special guests, multimedia insights, and behind-the-scenes stories for a deeper connection to the music and its creators.
