Pocahontas State Park – Sunday, September 13 at 7:00pm
The Richmond Symphony will return to Pocahontas State Park on Sunday, September 13 as part of the park’s Pocahontas Premieres concert series. Stop by the Richmond Symphony School of Music table to try out violin, cello, and percussion instruments at our instrument petting zoo! For more information, click here and here. This event is free and open to the public, but a $10 parking fee applies on grounds. Please note that this event was originally scheduled for Saturday, September 12, but was moved to the rain date in anticipation of inclement weather.
East End Festival – Saturday, September 26
Join us at the East End Festival on Saturday, September 26 to support Richmond Public Schools! This annual festival raises funds for music and cultural arts programs in RPS schools located in the East End. The Richmond Symphony will perform at 1:00pm and the Richmond Symphony School of Music will host an instrument petting zoo throughout the day. For more information, click here.

The Richmond Symphony will be tabling at Richmond’s 38th annual 2nd Street Festival in Jackson Ward. This event is free and open to the public, and will feature special musical guests, food vendors, a Kidz Zone, and more. For more information, click here.
